Oak Heights School completing another year, coming up to 12 years anniversary!

Schools in Hounslow

We are heading towards the end of the third term here at Oak Heights Independent School in Hounslow, with two weeks to go until we break up for summer. We are pleased to say it has been another successful year in giving your children what they need to achieve high grades at GCSE. We are confident to say that they have passed their GCSE examinations and are expecting good results from all of our students. We are also expecting them to move onto good sixth forms and colleges including grammar schools and top local institutions in the borough. So our students can complete their A-levels, attending classes which deliver the course at a high, standard which is maintained throughout the next two years.
Since the start of the academic year in Oak Heights school Hounslow, students are advised how they should be studying in their free time and given the necessary materials needed to pass the course including mock examinations and past papers. We systematically look at each student individually, keeping a track record of their mock exam grades in order to let them know where they can improve. This record is shown to parents during parents evening or can be accessed upon demand. At Oak Heights in Hounslow, we believe parents have every right to know the progress of their child, for this reason we advise parents to keep in touch with us for the sake of their child’s progress.
In all other years, we have seen better disciplined classes than ever before; students are constantly reminded that we do not tolerate any misbehaviour and are told to refer to the school rules. Breaking the rules leads to serious consequences. If behaviour does not improve within a term, we would have no choice but to exclude your child from the school. We try to avoid this by monitoring behaviour and addressing it as soon as possible. Assembly takes place twice a week, where the principal, announces any news or changes within the school, as well as discipline and behaviour. Students are always reminded to be punctual. This comes under discipline and time management which is a vital tool needed for the rest of their successful career. At Oak heights in Hounslow we teach your children how to be more organised and the importance of organisation. A better organised student would be more likely to achieve better grades, so we prepare them from their early years with us.

On the third of July we will be going on our annual trip to Thorpe Park as a day out for every student on a first come first serve basis, so please sign the slips and hand them into reception by June 26th. This is the second consecutive trip to the theme park as it was successful last year. This would be a good time for our students to take a break from the classroom and be active.
We look forward to hearing from you and wish you all the best.
